Paul is a serial entrepreneur who has founded several companies and has recently joined the Board of Market Access Transformation to invest in its’ profitable growth, and expansion.
With 30 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry and services sectors Paul has a deep understanding of global healthcare policy drivers and the resulting impact on manufacturer pipeline choices, and evidence requirements.
Specifically in this space, Paul co-founded the HERON Group in 1999, a consultancy specializing in health economics, evidence based medicine and pricing, reimbursement, and market access. He was responsible for the management and development of the European operations in the UK and Sweden and the establishment, and integration of a specialised function in Northern India. Paul also assumed financial control for the HERON group of companies.
Paul also has the experience of playing a leading role in the successful negotiation and sale of HERON to Parexel International in 2013. Paul’s earlier career included clinical development, commercial and health economics roles at gsk and Roche.
